We are an ideal base for touring this magnificent area of outstanding natural beauty. Situated in a beautiful rural setting but only half a mile from the beach Old MacDonald’s Farm is the perfect choice for families, walkers or anyone just wanting a quiet relaxing break.

Padstow is just five miles from us with numerous stunning bays along the coastline. And there are many interesting places to visit within a short drive, for example the Eden project is only 15 miles away. Walkers can pick up the South West Coastal Path at the beach for lovely walks along the headland and there is even a regular bus service that runs between Padstow and Newquay and stops right outside our site so there’s no need to walk both ways unless you want to!

The nearest beach, Porthcothan, is a delightful little bay, perfect for families, great for bathing and surfing. It is a narrow inlet with cliffs, sand dunes, rockpools, even a little stream running down to the sea all combine to make it an idyllic place for children. - The camp site which is divided into 4 small bays has 50 good size pitches, 20 with electric hook-up. The amenity block has 6 shower rooms, additional toilets and washing up facilities

Families camping with us have free use of the farm park facilities and can help feed the animals in the morning too

There is a café and small games room on site but no evening entertainment.
