Cornwall is perhaps one of the most tourist orientated lands in the UK, having relied on trade from holiday makers for a great part of its economy since the mining industry faltered. Old MacDonald's farm is based on the North Coast, an area that has a lot to offer. For more North Cornwall tourist information, the Estuary Directory, has a lot of details on the region around the Camel Estuary, taking in Padstow, Wadebridge, Port Isaac, Rock and Polzeath. Or for a wider scope and lots of useful information on Cornwall holidays, Eye on Cornwall is an excellent resource with town and area guides, webcams from all around the county, news and articles, and an events calendar.
Not far from us is Padstow, just a few minutes drive up the coast road to the East. There you will find the start of the Camel Trail cycle route, and businesses providing cycle hire. Trail Bike Hire is one of these companies, supplying quality bikes for use on the trail. See website here.

It is well worth investigating, as it follows an old railway line inland to Wadebridge, and then onto Bodmin. There is stunning scenery to be enjoyed en route.

Traveling further South will eventually bring you to Fowey, and Fowey.co.uk, contains information on what the beautiful riverside town has to offer, including events listings and accommodation. It is well worth making the trip down to this spot, very rewarding.
